This is one of Scott Colomb's male Indian red junglefowl that I photographed on a visit down south. After this photograph was taken we banded and chipped this bird - he wasn't to pleased with the process.

Here is a picture of Al Cumings' flock of Indian red junglefowl. In this aviary Mr. Cuming runs four hens to the one male. To photograph them they had to be scared outside into view.

This pair was photographed at Scott Colomb's, they were quite warry to the newcomers into their pen.

This is one of the better photos I have ever taken of the Richardson strain red junglefowl. This female was standing picture perfect at just the right moment to get the shot.

Here is a mature female Indian rjf getting ready to roost for the evening. This seems to be the best time to photograph them.
